Since her debut album Church, Kelsey Lu has captured us with her piercing unconventional vocals, and uniquely mysterious sound. We’ve been waiting for new projects from her based off of curiosity alone and she has delivered! While her first single of 2018, Shades of Blue, was the melodic yet melancholy jam you needed to complete your hipster In My Feelings playlist, Lu’s follow up takes a different rout. Due west is an INCREDIBLY introspective song and the video produces powerful images of freedom and Black Girl Magic.
