Marvel teases possible villain for Black Panther 2?

Towards the beginning of Avengers: Endgame Okoye, leader of the Dora Milaje, is seen having a conversation with Black Widow via hologram. It was only briefly mentioned in passing, and if you don’t know your comics then you’ll miss it, but Okoye mentions some seismic disruptions in the Atlantic Ocean.. now it’s not the biggest Easter egg, but it’s just big enough to leave us with some theories.

Anyone familiar with the comics knows that Marvel has their own version of the ruler of Atlantis in Prince Namor. With a few members of the OG Avengers gone, Marvel may be contemplating bringing new characters out of the comics in order to expand the universe. Since Okoye is the one that mentions the disruptions, it makes sense that Namor would make his first appearance in a Black Panther, there’s PLENTY of precedence from the source material as well.

The matchup seems to be a perfect fit. Two super powered monarchs fighting for the pride and protection of their country. Marvel Executive Producer Kevin Feige has stated that production for Black Panther 2 WILL NOT start until Ryan Coogler is good and ready to bring it to life, so as for now all we can do is speculate.
